Number of Available Contacts Increased

Monday, October 6th, 2008

In response to customer requests we have increased the number of contacts you can add to the Localphone dashboard to 50.

If your location is set to the UK you will be assigned a Direct Dial access number for each of these. Elsewhere the number will vary from location to location depending on availability.

If you add more contacts than we have access numbers available you will be shown a two-digit speed dial number you can use with the Localphone Calling Card. If you need to call more than 50 people you can still call any number you like for the same great rates by using our Calling Card service.

Most customers won’t be affected by this change, but for our power-users this should make the service even more convenient. If you have any ideas or comments about how Localphone could help you then please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Update “Your Location” at Any Time

If you’re travelling, work in a different area code, or just want to share your account with friends and family in a different city or country it’s easy to get a new list of local access numbers at any time. Just log in to your Localphone account and update “Your Location” in the dashboard sidebar. Your contact list display will be updated but dialling either the old or new access numbers will still call the same contact.
